Chocolate, Walnut & Date Fudge with a Kick

A warming, indulgent treat with Bennetto Orange with Chilli Chocolate

Who knew chocolate could feel warming? Our new Chocolate, Walnut & Date Fudge proves it! Using Bennetto’s Orange with Chilli Dark Chocolate, this fudge combines the rich depth of dark chocolate with a subtle citrusy warmth and a gentle chilli kick. Paired with chewy dates, crunchy walnuts, and a touch of tahini, it’s a guilt-free indulgence that’s perfect for mindful snacking or sharing with friends.

Ingredients

  • 160g Bennetto Orange with Chilli Dark Chocolate, melted

  • 2 tablespoons tahini

  • 1 cup whole walnuts

  • 1 cup pitted Medjool dates

Method

  1. Chop the pitted dates into quarters and place them in a mixing bowl.

  2. Melt the chocolate using a double boiler or microwave in short bursts.

  3. Stir in the tahini while the chocolate is still warm.

  4. Add the dates and walnuts to the bowl, mixing until combined.

  5. Ensure the mixture is at a warm-mild temperature. The chocolate should have a glossy finish and the nuts a lovely crunch.

  6. Press the mixture firmly into a lined pan.

  7. Refrigerate for a few hours or overnight until set.

  8. Cut into chunks of your desired size and enjoy!

Storage

Keep in the fridge to maintain the chewy texture of the dates and the perfect fudge consistency.
